This is a wonderful idea to decorate your table especially for these coming holidays. Also you can make it with paper and it will look great. Do your best Origami Maniacs......
yeah it works......but you have to be very careful and follow the instructions in the video carefully. Look at the video of sakura dish and make only five modules to make the 5 petal jasmine
I did, but it looked quite different from the photo. The one in the photo was more angular and the petals were less shallow than the one I made. I used a pentagram to make one following this webpage. http://www.origami-resource-center.com/buttonhole-flower.html

I saw the one you made with for petals, and I have seen people who join two napkins, and they get a beautiful 8 petaled flower like the one in the picture. Try it and I hope you like it.
