Sewed Kusudama (Japanese Traditional Style)

 

Beautiful kusudama designed by the talented Tomoko Fuse. I love folding traditional kusudamas like this one. But…..Why is this kusudama so special? This kind of Japanese kusudama is sewed with thread and a needle to put it together. No glue at all……It’s an amazing technique I learned in Japan, and I love it…..Have you ever tried it?

Estas kusudamas tradicionales japonesas son cosidas con aguja e hilo para unir todas las piezas y formar la kusudama. Es una técnica muy tradicional y fascinante que aprendí en Japón y me encanta…..
